Our Story
Cinnte are a young duo from rural County Waterford, made up of Adam Moynihan and Bryan Dowdall.
Since 2019, they’ve built their sound through street performances and steady gigging across the Waterford music scene - cultivating a hugely popular profile of over 2,000 followers and hundreds of thousands of views on socials. Cinnte has become a staple in the Waterford music scene - and with aims of progressing Irish Folk to even larger audiences, it’s hard to see anything stopping them.
Initially beginning as an indie rock act, their music has gradually shifted toward Irish folk roots - where both of the boys have found their most natural talent and crowd-loved sound. Garnering a substantial online presence in recent months has caught the eyes and ears of thousands in Waterford - playing in iconic local venues such as The Theatre Royal, St. Patrick’s Gateway, and Electric Avenue - just to name a few.
After four incredible years, various released singles, and hundreds of gigs as Modern Dilemma, Bryan and Adam decided to manifest their evolving musical style with an overhaul of the band - renaming theirselves Cinnte. Embedded in the Irish culture that epitomises their musical identity and direction as artists, the lads saw it as a step in the right direction - a reflection of their ever-evolving maturation in the music scene.
